Creating a New Project

Please note: as of February 2025, the Console Ecosystem is in its public beta. Bugs can be common and we only offer a free plan, including the ability to create and manage 1 project. In the weeks after launch, we will continuously improve the platform and introduce our first paid plan, with the optionality for more projects. After creating or editing contracts using Console, we highly encourage finding a third party auditing firm to check/verify the code on bugs and safety issues. As a start, you can also ask Console to check for potential vulnerabilities. We are not responsible for any losses incurred through faulty contracts. Once signed up, you are presented with the developer dashboard, which should look like the screenshot below. Simply hit 'Create New Project' or 'New Project' to get started building or editing your first smart contract.

Please be reminded that the free plan allows users to create, edit and deploy 1 project/contract. Shortly after the launch of our beta, we will introduce paid plans enabling users to create more projects. Before entering the contract creation studio, select a name for your project in below popup and hit 'Create Project'.

Once the name of your project is selected, you enter the 'Project Dashboard' and can start adding/creating contracts, which will be discussed in the next chapter.
